Forums - Movies & TV - The Amount Of Sony Product Placement In 'The Amazing Spider-Man' Sequel Is Ridiculous

I noticed the sony laptop while watching it, but it didn't bother me. Now watch James Bond and the amount of sony phones and laptops and tv's is just unrealistic.

Around the Network

The most unrealistic thing in a movie based on a comic book about a dude with super powers?

*shades*

All the laptops are VAIOs.

Really? I assume this person has never seen ANY of the Marvel movies?

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

What i want to know is where the hell was his Playstation? This teenager does not exits in anyones minds!

I take it most of you don't watch CW shows. Literally every single one of them has surface tablets and they won't shut up about them. They give them to friends as gifts, they make a huge deal about them in an actual dialogue and they even become part of an argument.

They always show how they work and how easy it is to click on them. It is so obvious that they're advertising them that it is actually funny. Anyone who watches Arrow might have noticed this. The only exception might be Supernatural. I haven't watched the latest season and don't remember anything from the last one.

There's definitely Surface tablet placement in the latest Supernatural season. The one I remember is in the episode with Felicia Day.

I noticed some product placement, especially in the scene where Electro confronted Spidey for the first time in Times Square....but my problem is that the movie fucking sucked.

At least we can't blame them for not advertising this time around. lol!

Put the Tomorrow People in there too, Skype over Surface, Security Camera shots on the Surface, "let me show you something" on the surface, following shot showing a Surface and so on =D

Yeah I never really noticed any Sony products during the film, and tbh even without the product placement, it's still a very bad film.

The worst and most obvious pp I've seen though would have to be the Xbox 360 in Transformers, I actually felt less inclined to buy an Xbox after that- as I remember enjoying the scene until the Xbox gets transformed- that moment was so unnatural and obviously paid for it took me right out of the film. Who would walk down the street with a new console in both hands? I wouldn't, it's awkward- you would bag it surely.
