Those people never played NFS: Most Wanted or Motorstorm: Apocalypse.

I for one just want it out ASAP and get a nice steering wheel to go with it... driving in inside the cockpit as always, enjoying the beautiful scenery at night as I own the track in my Audi R8

Yeah they did. At E3 media complained about the framerate ben 30fps. The devs said how the pushed the game back to achieve a better framerate. The game looked horrible to control and you could bounce around the barriersan actually gain places doing that. There are better games to be waiting on than this PS4 racing game. Infamous is out and NFS TR looks way better than Driveclub. The Order is another game which gameplay looks terrible. Theres oher much better tiles on PS4 to be waiting for than Driveclub an The Order. o8 |
LInk? I'm pretty damn sure they never said that. They did say in June that they are aiming for it, but said back then as well that they didn't know if they could achieve it. Later on they confirmed 30fps and 60fps was never stated as a reason for the delay.
Also, great, now you're even trying to pull The Order into this, because afterall we've seen a whooping 1:30 minutes of gameplay of that game.

I just never understood why these 2 titles have got PS fans attention? Id be pissed off if Horizon 2 plays like DC and Gears 4 plays like The Order. Gameplay wise. Anyhow, I guess thats that really.

Selnor, you really have no idea how these games play, none of us do. Driveclub was delayed for 11 months, so I'm pretty damn sure we can expect that the studio is trying to perfect gameplay in that time and we've seen basically nothing from The Order. But yeah let's just stop here, this is just pointless thread derailment.

Says the guy that spent months vigorously defending Ryse at every turn, then continued to do so after most players/reviewers came to the conclusion it was a boring mess.
Stay classy Selnor :P
To DerNebel: Did a quick googling and you're right, they only ever mentioned that they aimed for it, but specifically stated it wasn't a promise. It was also not credited as the reason for the delay. (Looking at more recent footage it's pretty obvious they decided to go with more polish at locked 30fps rather than push hard for 60fps, because DC is haaawwwt).

You wouldnt be pissed off. You would just ignore it and claim games are about fun.
Just like when dead rising and ryse didnt even do 30fps.

No, I saw that, but I think the main reason for the attack was, aside from of course just finding flaws for the sake of finding flaws, that you have a set time of day for every track that can't be changed at all. In DC it apparently just doesn't change dynamically according to the real time but you can still set the time to whatever you want ingame. |
I think it was gifs like this that made people hope:

So ?
Most the links in the google search cleary state " no night racing ", of course some people would complain about no cycle as well. I have no idea you're trying to prove really. The main complaint was no night and weather effects.
