year of QoL confirmed?
This is what i have been saying. The new businesses Nintendo is gonna get into are not for gamers. The videogames Nintendo will be staying like it always has been.
Its called a diversification strategy. Since the games market is volatile for them they will reduce their dependance on it.
From the wording of his interview it sounds like they don't have anything specific yet, sounds more like a philosophical change w an abstract idea at this point
Maybe they are going into the mobile market by making a phone or tablet
PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850
People are tired of colorfull kiddie-looking games. Thats the big problem of Nintendo...

Hahaha! Right, give us shooters Nintendo, ain't nobody got time for your kiddie games... Haha!
OT. Interesting, by the way it sounds, it could be anything. Being a fan of Nintendo's quality, I'll keep an eye on whatever they bring us.

there is no market for good shooters. and even lesser market for hard shooter. peoples needs for the same low quality shooter with shity story and nintendos way of making games dont fit.
The big thing you can take from this is QoL = fun. People often assume that QoL = Exercise or something like Wii Fit. I think their new product is for entertainment, but in a different way that their usual consoles. He's also said it ties into their gaming expertise in some way. I can really see a tablet with Nintendo games as the outcome, or something totally radical.

God I hope you're right. I'll take grey-scale and blood soaked shooting games over Pokemon and Mario and Zelda anyday...
Said no one, ever.

Which is exactly what the interview highlighted. QoL starts after our basic needs of food and shelter are met. I think people are just speculating because internet.
