Demon's Souls has so far been my favorite in the series. With that said, there's no reason to think that a Demon's Souls 2 would be better than what we're getting from the Dark Souls series. The Dark Souls games are good. Saying yes to Demon's Souls 2 feels like i'm just saying yes because I want more Souls games.

Which is basically my stance on it. Waiting 2-3 years for a new Souls game is hard, especially when there's nothing else like it on the market. Having Demon's Souls come out inbetween would make the wait easier.

Mmmm... Can't argue against that. It is a pretty long wait.

As a big Demon's Souls fan. an absolute yes.
And Sony only have to win about this, with a decent team behind DeS 2, they can pull off another awesome game.

Nah. Dark Souls III is fine, there's no reason for a Demons Soul II.

As someone who's put 200+ hours into Demon's Souls on PS3 and a similar amount into Dark Souls on PC (this coming weekend is DS2 weekend), I have to say that I don't believe your comment is expressing an anadulturated opinion.

The two games share the exact same template. They might as well have had the exact same name. This is unanimously accepted. Not even PS fanboys who were vocal about Demon's being PS exclusive cared as they all went out and bought Dark Souls happily just to relive the brilliant experience again.

There is no major incongruety between the two hence the widely accepted labelling of "Souls series".

Demon's Souls 2 PS4 exclusive would give PS owners MAJOR bragging rights.

Especially the hardcore segment.
