I always assume it was real, nothing too far fetch here

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Wouldn't they have dissolved away after over 30 years in the ground? Especially the thin cardboard boxes and paper instruction manuals- those should've disappeared completely and utterly.
Also, millions? Where are those in the pics? If there were millions (or thousands or hundreds or even dozens), they'd be there. They wouldn't have buried them separately, hence the term 'landfill'.
Seems obviously and extremely fake to me. X'D

No, it's possible, decomposition of material is slow in the dry desert.
Okay.
I've always assumed that it was true because it's not important enough to lie about. I don't really care either way.
Damn, though, why is Centipede in there?
I actually remember getting E.T. for my Atari when I was a kid. E.T. was a HUGE phenomenon back then. I can still remember how frustrating it was. You really had no idea what you were doing. I'd rank it as the second worst video-game I've ever played.

Not that slow. Also, like I mentioned, it was a landfill - apparently there were countless copies buried in a giant heap. How come they found just 2, then? The others magically disappeared? Lol.

From what I read in the Xbox Wire article, they're inviting people to come to the digsite and they're making a documentary about it, I have my doubts that it is a hoax for now.
