I agree with one review on there, if a game requires gold and can't be played without it then there should be a label on the game.  This is a kid focused game and they probably aren't gonna do research on the game before they buy it.  


The 360 version picture there has a nice online only label at the bottom right, also a XBL gold required label near it.

The Xbox One version, while having split screen, also says gold needed on the front and on the back only lists number of players when playing online.

Huh looks like Amazon put that in, guess its those people's fault, I don't think its on the actual case though.

Nope, sadly.

Two players and local only when doing split screen on X1. The 360 version has no split screen.

Yeah was always a timed exclusive if I remember some announcement of the game correct.

And which other exclusivity deal got EA rid off? Please don't say Titanfall as whole franchise because that was also never a deal and it was always only about Titanfall 1 because of Microsoft's funding of the game.

Look at the reviews. A vast majority of the complaints are about Live.

Its a fun game, Playstation owners will be happy to have it.


Didn't say the game wasn't fun. I'm just saying it's published by scumbags and they'll probably want to bring their scumbag practices to playstation too.

Well it isn't EA's practices that is upsetting consumers. Its the Live paywall.

I think it will have a bigger impact on PS4 since the casuals are less likely to know PS4 requires PS+ to play online (because PS3 didnt).

The reviews are somewhat funny, but sad at the same time. Sony and MS cant expect casual customers to know they have to pay an extra yearly fee to play a game they buy once in a while.

While I think PS+ is amazing value, I fully understand why a lot of people might not want anything to do with it. Its sad Sony went that way for the PS4.

I'm assuming he did mean titanfall, but apart from that, Peggle 2 might also be timed.
