Not to be a prick but people did threads like this with the WiiU and every other consoles before the ps4/x1 so I approve of threads like this But yea, the reasoning is also the same... It has not been out for very long

To be fair, Nintendo has dropped the ball on coming out with 1st party exclusives in a timely fashion. Even Nintendo fans have been complaing about this, so you know it's true.
But they basically cobbled together a Mario game in time for launch, just cause they know that's their biggest seller. Then the next significant release after that was Pikmin 3 nearly 8 months later. They released a few more games that year, but mostly games that worked on the Wii, but had little affect on Wii U sales (like Sports, Party, and Fit.) The only other significant games for core gamers that year was a remake of Wind Waker and SM3DW, which came out 4 months after Pikmin. Then it took about 3 months (an improvement) til Donkey Kong was released, and it just missed the holiday season. Now, the ones gamers REALLY want (Zelda and X), were delayed to this year or 2015, which is 2-3 years after launch. It's been about a year and a half and there is hardly any word on the Zelda they demoed at E3.
To compare this to Sony, It would basically be like if Sony launched with GT6.5 and a port of PS Home. Then in July of 2014, they finally got around to launching Knack. Then, they launched 2-3 Move games over the coming months, while just having the TLOU remake launching in Sept and Killzone in November. And Infamous, Drive Club, and The Order, which are really the only games they are currently working on, are delayed til 2015 to 2016. Then, on top of that, you have the lack of 3rd party support to fill in any gaps that Sony may have for games they themselves are releasing.
As you can see, the situations are completely different, and Nintendo fans and others have the right to criticize Nintendo for their poor handling of their 1st parties. Sony, on the other hand, have released 3 major titles in 5 months from launch (many more titles if you count downloadable). They already have 3 announced and coming out this year, Drive Club, The Order, and MLB (only pro baseball game in town.) And again, more if you include downloadable titles. Of course, we also know that at E3, they will probably have 3-4 (maybe more) new games to announce for release in late 2014 and beyond. On top of that, you DO have the 3rd pary support that fills in the gaps that Sony leaves. Which is why articles like this just come off as entitled whinning.
