Dude. I was at the same conference, there were not sexy cos players everywhere. In fact, there was a distinct lack of eyecandy. Then again, if you thought the girls at the Nintendo booth were hot stuff because they wore short skirts and boots ... You either need to highten your standards or get out more.

No, it doesn't botter me, you're the one losing your shit here. I just pointed out that as far as conventions go, the cosplay scene at Wondercon was very weak. Both the quality and the quantity was lacking. When you can spend 8 hours on the show floor and not do more than 4 or 5 double takes, I wouldn't say that sexy cosplay girls very everywhere exactly.

As for the Nintnedo booth, you are right, not a single one of those women looked hot. Quite the opposite. They did however almost all of them look like they had just been hired of the street thanks to the bizarre street walker outfits Nintendo dressed them up in.

Anyway, this is probably not very relevant to what most people are interested in about this thread. Mario Kart 8 looks great, the demo was short and sort of underwhelming, but the good news is that after a bit of akwardsness in the start, using the gamepad for driving works just fine. I'll probably not use it much, but it didn't bother me at the demo after I got used to the sensitivity.

It was a demo version which is not completely representative of the full game. For example, DKC: Tropical Freeze demos had three hearts per character as a standard (as opposed to two in the full game), so I wouldn't make a judgment on a Nintendo game's difficulty based on demo impressions. It's perfectly possible that the difficulty was dialed down to give a bigger number of people a chance to win some races; people like winning.

Only half of the computers would get the boost at the start of the race, plus they provided such little challenge that they may aswell have not even been there (granted I'm pretty good lol), hence why I believe the demo is 100cc! And regardless, the real challenge comes from facing human opponents! Play in the MK8 tourneys we'll soon be having here and you'll see what I mean!
