I wouldn't mind a better screen on the gamepad, but that's about it.

What they need to do: Cut price and bundle.
What they will do: Bundle and keep price the same.
| Nintentacle said: I don't see any of those happening any time soon, but I'd bet that they'll have a Mario Kart 8 bundle. Not sure about a price cut to $250 though... |
I'm sure!
maybe a smaller/sleaker gamepad that reduces manufacturing costs but thats about

It could use a little more internal storage and maybe a more attractive gamepad design, but the console itself is designed beautifully. There's no need for a redesign. The Wii U and Gamecube are probably the two more efficient consoles ever made.
It needs more internal memory. But otherwise I think it's about as good as it can be. Ditching the Pad, or making it smaller, doesn't make sense. Smaller won't reduce cost much.

In terms of basic functionality yes, but in terms of visual appeal? The Gamecube definitely coulda used a redesign! I remember making fun of my brother for buying a purple lunchbox, so much so that he eventually sold it and bought the silver one. Yes I used to be a bad little boy! xD

I guess it looks a bit dorky on the outside. The Gamecube needs to be opened to be fully appreciated though. The controller port and fan are the only things with a wire connecting them. Everything else, even the disc drive, is hard connected dirrectly to the main circuit board. With one heat sink in the middle. It's like a doughnut of R&D genius.
They should just make a SKU that is not bundled with a game and that is priced at 250$... Let the people buy that if they are not interested in games that the bundle skus have...
Nintendo could sell a Wii U for 200 without game/games bundled in and have a cheaper SKU model at 150$ but I wont tell you how but it is possible and risky in a way. It would take a lot of negotiation with manufacturers of needed components thqt Wii U consists off..

I appreciate the games atleast! Sunshine and Thousand Year Door are imo the best games in their respective series! Although I haven't played SM3DW yet.
