For me I see it more as calling out people that keep making predictions out of there asses yet pretend that they know better than others (for whatever reasons) most, I repeat, most of the guys in the op are constant offenders, they have a '' my prediction is better than yours complex'' and won't admit of being wrong so threads like this are used to bring them back to reality but I don't kid myself they probably won't learn from this.

Seems like everyone is doing that on this site don't you agree? Is it really offensive when someone makes a prediction about something no one knows? To me it's just another flamebait thread in disguise.

The op would've included predictions about any console and anyone and it would already be a more respectable thread. But pointing specific people is more a direct attack than anything. Be it towards PS4, WiiU or X1.

The OP pointed out their own failed prediction.

A lot of these haven't really had a chance to come true though yet. Some of these don't even have a time cap so there is still a chance for them to come true. All you're doing is predicting that their predictions won't come true. And we all know how your predictions end.

This isn't a terribly good idea for a thread in its current form but we'll keep it open for now. We are keeping a close eye on it though, singling out one group or fanbase could turn ugly quickly.

If people make stupid predictions in public then they should be held accountable for it.

With the arrogance and certainty those 'predictions' were made, I think OP has been too kind to them.
