Predictions? Did you read one of the quoteS? He was sure that Sony had a 0% chance of winning the US. That doesn't sound like a prediction to me, that sounds as if he was certain.

Well actually that person said there's a 0% of PS4 dominating in the USA. What he says implies that he thinks Sony could win, but if they do it won't be by a big amount.

0ninehundredandninetynine definitely needs to be added... hes been saying ps4 will never catch wii u for the last year and I still think he believes it.

I knew someone would try to cop out like this for that quote. He is still 100% wrong considering he gave a percentage of the chance of Ps4 dominating. Considering there is still a very real chance that it will happen the 0% number makes the quote 100% wrong. Now if he said 1% then yes, that means if ps4 dominates then there was always a small possibility of it happening

It has ALWAYS been like that. Threads get bumped and OP gets mocked. Threads get made and posters get mocked. This is a public forum and posting your opinion out in the open makes you vulnerable to be pointed out at a later date. Its a risk EVERYONE who OP quoted knew before posting

I get that, but the prediction is just so wrong that it should have been included in the thread in my opinion. People expected Wii U to sell nearly 10 million more than it has at this point!

I agree.  I guess I would have included it if I was actually bookmarking their qoutes at the time.  The earliest I have is from July, which was well after the Wii U's sales had dropped.

But on the subject, you're right. There's never a 0% on anything.

Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC

PS4 still won't win America. The Xbox One is still $499. Wait till this fall for the price cut + Halo effect. Next year we'll have another Halo effect and a Gears effect after that. Sony has no exclusive franchises with addicting multiplayer. NA will be closer at the end of this gen but Xbox will still win.

Now, that I'm thinking of it, I wish I had a few more of the posts from people who were saying that because the Wii U was performing poorly, the other consoles didn't stand a chance. I believe the post talking about PS4 sales being low for 2014 was referencing that, just wish I had a few more.

Not necessarily low, but some people do take this more seriously than others. It's a formula for conflict.
