That makes sense. But why would they bother doing a direct for SB before MK?

Indeed! I forgot to mention that in the OP, aswell as how they could have a short bit about their E3 plans at the end of the direct!

are you confusing 2d with snes quality? I mentioned super mario kart for pespective, not graphical quality.

Completely flat tracks are bland, illogical, n ugly, and it would look even wierder and more out of place with HD graphics!
