Hm... yeah sure! I'd like to see them go on detail about the multiplayer modes. (especially online, they could also hand out some aspects 'bout battle mode)

Best time to air it, in my opinion, would be half way through May, just to get the hype up again.

Also, if they run out of stuff to show, they could just have a Mario Kart battle with Iwata, Miyamoto and some other guys, just like they did on E3 2004 (if I'm not mistaken)

Hehe, I was imagining that the start of the direct would be Iwata's, Reggie's, and Miyamoto's Miis fighting each other in Balloon battle mode! ^_^

No way! Reggie would dominate, since Iwata doesn't even know how to drift properly and hurr... durr...! That'd be a massacre. (and an awesome one at that!)

There will probably be a MK 8 direct but all I really want is  for the battle mode to be good again. no forcing you to play in team battles. there should be online and off line battle mode, single player and multiplayer on both. and specially, a full retro battle mode, with the game turning 2d like super mario kart.

We JUST got a crap-ton of information. I feel like the direct will just reiterate everything we know, or worse, spoil the rest of the game.

Why would you want that? :O

We know pretty much nothing about the game's features n modes, and Nintendo isn't forcing anyone to watch.

why wouldn't I want? the super mario kart battle mode was the best so far. a 1080p high quality evolution of it? Yes, please.

It's also the most probable oportunity for announcing a bundle.
