It's a black gamepad, not that it matters anymore...

Plus it's just the E3 demo, which was at the hands on events, some of which in Canada, so they're not missing out on anything.
Same demo as before apparently, limited number of racers, three courses two laps each, I guess nothing new? I'd never played Mario Kart 8 before so it was fun to play it, but for people hoping for more leaks it must be a disappointment.
Fun to see the amount of buzz the game is generating though, people are liking what they are seeing.
Nintendo and his brilliant marketing strategy. By now they should have a new demo.
Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Why? IS there such a huge overlap between the E3 crowd and the Wonedrcon audience that they need another demo? No. As evidenced by the huge lines and postive buzz at the convention. It makes more sense for Nintendo to get a hand on experience of the game in the hands of as many people as posisble, rather than coming up with new demos all the time for people who spend their whole day on gaming websites.

They already made a new demo for their preview events. Yeah they'd probably have to restrict some things for the demo to be made public, but I don't see that taking so much effort.
