They're a little too high in the US. I wish they were all $50 at the most. I guess companies think something like "Why should they pay $50 when they can pay only $10 more and we make even MORE money! Muahaha."

The US is one of the cheapest places in the world to buy games and games consoles. Xbox One and PS4 games here range from £44.99 to £54.99 ($75.27 to $92). Wii U games seem to start at around £39.99 however for some reason ($66.91)

I hate the game prices in Canada atm... Its $5 more for virtually every game than the US... Its soo dumb and on top of that, there is 12% tax!!! Its like wtfffffffff

So unless a game is superbly fap worthy, I wont really buy it unless it goes on sale

I feel bad for gamers in other countries. We have it easy in the U.S with game prices and still think they are a bit too high in most cases.

You guys have to pay at a premium :(

To be fair, 65 CAD is about 60 USD but our taxes (unless you live in like the Yukon or Alberta) are ridiculous.

Games I buy for full price
Pokemon
Zelda
Metal Gear
Kingdom Hearts
Final Fantasy
Other epic JRPGs

Games I dont buy for full price
Everything else

Started importing a lot of my games from the UK now coz it saves me $10-20. In the case of DW8XLCE recently I save $35 by waiting 2 weeks for shipping because EB here are trying to rob us on next gen prices.
Problem with this is a) The wait and b) Vita and 3DS games are basically the same price as they are here

I bought Atelier dusk 2 today for 40 euros.

I just saw it at the local shop, tought 40 was a good deal and bought it on a whim. Would be totally worth it if stupid shopkeeper didn't put Ayesha's bluray instead T_T

In general I only pay JRPGs full price

I only buy games that are part of established series (for me) at full price. Otherwise, I wait for price drops. As a PC-mainly gamer, it is easy to get great deals, since PC games tend to be bundled and dropped significantly in price within a year.

£30 is the limit for what I'll pay for a new game, and for me to spend that much money, it'll have to fall into one of a few categories:

- Something I'm insanely hyped for (i.e. Ratchet & Clank; new Tales games - very rare these days)
- Something niche which I suspect will have a limited print run (i.e. Dangan Ronpa)
- Something multi-player focused which I suspect will be best to play at launch (i.e. Starhawk)

Otherwise, I wait for price cuts.

I love that Sony adopted a lower-tier pricing system for certain games last year (Sly Cooper; Ratchet & Clank etc.) I wish more games did it so we had a shot at reviving the mid tier.

I'm from Brazil , i have to pay almost 100% taxes.

Take that!!!

I'm perfectly willing to buy games at full price, if the content justifies it. But I usually don't, because I've got a triple-digit backlog. I haven't actually bought a game new in over three years.
