I can't tell you how happy this makes me. Beyond Good & Evil has been at the top of my most wanted sequels list for a decade. I know Ancel and company got side-tracked with Rayman, but I've always hoped that they'd return to Beyond Good & Evil some day.

I just hope this isn't a tease. Between this game and The Last Guardian, my heart can't take much more

I don't care about the lead platform. I just want this game. Loved the first one. Wouldn't mind playing it again. Isn't it on Xbox Live Arcade?

Yes, they're both from Ubisoft Montpellier and Michel Ancel directs both games. They livestreamed the PS4 version Rayman Legends on twitch and talked about BG&E2.

I still have the GameCube version of the first game. It was among my top 10 games of that generation.

Yes.  One of the very few games I've actually enjoyed enough to 100%.  Great game then and great game, now.

Since this was bumped, I'll add that it was confirmed this image was concept art from the first game, not for BG&E2

" Ubisoft told IGN the piece "was concept art created from the original BG&E" rather than a new design."

However, "Working on Rayman Legends was a nice, early holiday," series creator Michel Ancel said during a live stream. "So we are going to make serious games now. Beyond Good & Evil [is] a good candidate for making a real, serious game now."
