Forums - Gaming - Multiplatform gamers in the golden era of video games?

I'm curious were there multiplatform gamers in the second half of the 90s till early 2000s or is multiplatform gaming a recent thing? Just scream if you can hear me. PS2 flawless victory.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

Glorious God Gamer, is a recent thing I think.

i was playing on SNES and Genisis

A lot of things seem "recent" because there was no widespread Internet before 2000.

Hmm wasn't a multiplatform gamer until the gamecube came out, then I had the PS2 and the GC. Previous gen I just had a Playstation one.

I also had an xbox not sure if I got that before or after the gamecube.

My nephew had a Saturn (never saw the console but I wound up with the discs), PS1, and N64 (WWF/WCW games ftw!).

I had an N64 but jumped to PS1 when games became scarce in early 1997. So, yeah. I existed.

I had a PS2 and a GameCube during the 6th generation! Easily my favorite gaming generation!
