Take these producer words with a bit of salt...

The PlayStation 4 version of upcoming MMORPG Kingdom Under Fire 2 has "better graphics" than the PC version, according to producer Sang Youn Lee, who believes that PC users will be "very angry" to hear about the visual discrepancies.

Talking about the differences between the two versions with 2p.com (via Gaming Bolt), Lee admitted that it was "a little hard to [discuss the differences] right now because if the PC users know, they will be very angry. PS4 has much better graphics. PS4 graphics quality will be much better and higher than the PC version."

It isn't yet clear how exactly the two versions will differ.

Kingdom Under Fire 2 is due to release on PC later this month, with Blueside aiming for a simultaneous release across Europe, Japan and Korea on PS4 later this year. The developer says that it's also in discussions with Microsoft to try and bring the game to Xbox One.

Hmm, until the game comes out and the performance is compared on a high-end PC, I'll withhold judgement. If true though, it could mean the dev didn't optimize it well on PC or that it was a lazy port.

Thats kinda stupid... what they should have done is made them equal at the very least... oh well... I guess sony does pay well but if they r not getting paid then they r truely stupid if this is true that is

I just hope the game won't get delayed just so they meet this fucking MS policy of simultaneous releases...
As for the graphics, that's a bit weird, but I wouldn't mind.

I don't want to be rude, but Japanese PC development has been lacking since a long time ago. Silly me, they are Koreans, not Japanese.

Besides, they could have choosen to go with lower details on PC on purpose in order to reach a bigger audience. But of course that doesn't explain why they don't use the PS4 assets for the "high" preset on PC.
