Delaying to 2015 would be the stupidest thing Nintendo have done since the Q1-2 2013 drought.
Release your fucking games in a timely fashion. IT'S NOT THAT HARD.

They may be experimenting with the series, and they are going to make the game and offer Roster/Stage Updates as DLC (Something that EA should do with Madden). So you release the game near the beginning of the console cycle and keep updating it every year. Think something like NSMBU and SLBU, you need the base game but get a new game at a cheaper price because it is built on top of the original game.

Like T-bone said - I wouldn't put too much into this. It would be wise just to wait for Smash bros direct.

However, if this does have merit - then it could be the 3ds version being delayed to 2015
