Is there a difference...does Dreamcast have HDD?
If no, go Xbox
If yes, go Dreamcast it has better controller.

(xbox is probably easier to find games for though, unless you want phantom dust, have fun finding that)
I like both XBOX and Dreamcast. Id say Xbox because games like Conker, Phantom Dust, Halo, etc But Dreamcast also has Sonic Adventures 2 which was really good.
Gamecube would prob be the best pick though. Nintendo games age a lot better.
I would go for the N64 because you will find much more AAA games with high metacritc ratings on this system. With a Dreamcast however, you could play Shenmue & Skies of Arcadia.
Man, you could find a Dreamcast or Xbox for like $7 about now, can't you? Anyway, do you own an Xbox 360? It's backwards compatible with a lot of Xbox games. That may help you. As for me, I owned a Dreamcast and, at the time, it was an amazing system. Then came a time (still during the 6th gen) where, despite owning a TON of Dreamcast games, I came to a realization: Most of the good games for the Dreamcast were either ported to other consoles or got a superior sequel on other consoles.
Unless it's just about owning the console, see which games you want but don't have access to. Then make a smart decision.

Ah. Go with the Dreamcast, then. VMU and Seaman FTW!
Buy a Dreamcast since playing with Seaman is an unforgettable experience!

To find a Dreamcast with the box intact is somewhat rare I guess, I think I would have chosen that.
Yep.

I so want to. but the thing is i have just deposited money for a PS4... so after revaluating my budget i can only afford to go for one at $50, it might not seem much but new console purchases are not cheap.. $399 PS plus subscribtion, couple of games, I had to cancel one game (Knack) to fit dreamcast in... so I M on a really tight budget

well in US maybe.. but here in India 6 gen consoles are very rare beside Playstation's. So finding a DC or XB is very rare and that too in a pristing condition along with box and original accesories, its a steal.. and yes it just about owning a console right now. The thing is XBOX is not that rare compared to DC, so i m hoping that i would find one next month
