Seriously?  People wouldnt buy a console because it came with a free game they dont want?   I dont see that at all...  If people are that afraid of being around the vicinity of kinect sport rivals then they certainly werent even close to wanting an xbox one in the first place...

Maybe they did but this puts them of as not every one wants waggle game, Forza 5 or titanfall are awesome giveaways.  Even with free Ksports and X1 costing 450 if you need to buy the type of game you actually want the PS4 becomes a better buy.  If your on the fence....

Not really sure why you are trying to turn this thread into a ps4 vs x1 thread, but you should stop.  This is about a game and how it might sale.  Whether it is bundled or not.

I think he might be sad he does not have access to kinect maybe he should buy a xbox one with kinect sports rivals when it comes out...

lol i got a x1 and a PS4 and even a U and unliek most of you im a gamer.  And i like most have no intrest in ksports, game will likely flop unless massive giveaways happen even then ill be a failue in comparison to 360 K games.

He's in a microsoft thread talking about how much the PS4 is awesome. He's either A) Jealous or B) Provoking

You are talking about sales and or give aways.  Giveaways that are a direct responce to its competitior.  You are talking about bundles, how well that bundles does also depends how well its recives by the consumer in compareison to its direct competitior.  You know who that is.

Titanfall did great as did Iss part due to lacking any direct competition and their massive hype levels.  How much Ksports does sales  giveaways in bundles is directly influenced by how well in competes with its nearest rivel and how well the price points comapre given its lack of hype.   Its sales or giveaways will mostly depand on how well Xbox One sales and that depands how well it competes with its rival.

Option C) im looking at the big picture, Its just common sense buddy.

I think it will do ok.

If i was to guess, I would say 700 to 1 million by end of the year. The only thing I cannot figure out is if the XbO current users really care about the game to go buy it. I suspect not. I hope it does well as i know someone who worked on it... and he is proud of what he has done on the game (not my cup of tea of a game though)

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

It's already more requested at my place than any other Kinect/wii Motion game - and that's the the one wake boarding game. People like it, and with the extra games and mode it should do very well to capture the family game night type.

Plus, it's a good target for existing Xbox One owners to get digitally. If they are used to using Kinect, they would want to just switch with their voice.

Much will also depend on how Microsoft markets it.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

I certainly think this is Kinects last hope, if this bombs, i expect kinectless SKU at E3

while it's releasing now I'm pretty sure they plan on selling the majority of KSR units through bundles during holliday season... so in ANY case I wouldn't expect a kinectless SKU this year, what ever happens at launch especially if a price cut is inbound after E3 accross the board....

but imo we will never see a kinectless SKU no matter what, the reasons are really simple taking it out will not make MS make more money even with an increase in sales... the loss in R&D and the shrunk margin would hurt them more...IMO they'd be better off cutting price agressively while keeping it.... because today they would have to sell a kinectless SKU at 350 minimum to be competitive (they can't sell the XB without kinect at the same price than a PS4 it makes even less sense than selling it at 500 with kinect) and I doubt they would make more money at that price point than they would at 400 while keeping the kinect

in any case the loss surely wouldn't be vastly different and they would still amortize R&D... so yeah by the time a kinectless SKU might be a doable without wasting too much of their initial investment.. they'll be able to slash the price while keeping it bundled anyway...

so yeah I really think a kinectless SKU is not a viable business option no matter what happens they are pretty much stuck with it.... at least for the time being and later on it will be a moot point...

I predict people disagreeing with toastboy will win 5:1 or more against the ones agreeing.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Kinect sports on xbox360 sold 5 millions lifetime no way Rivals will do better.

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

So is it selling like hotcakes or cold fish cakes ?

I think the game can do 200k in its first week if vgchartz preorders are remotely close. The Titanfall bundle is going to get replaced by a Kinect Sports Rival bundle. If you go on bing rewards you can register to win a ksr bundle just like what they did with Titanfall. Xbox One with kinect + a game + xbox live for 450 is hard to pass up and sales numbers show it. If microsoft can manage to sell 350k from retail/download and 350k from bundles this game can sell 700k this month. I expect this bundle to be permanent until maybe this christmas. I predicted xbox one price cuts when titanfall launched, i predicted kinect 1 would sell 20 million and i predicted xbox one would outsell ps4 in titanfall week despite being released in only twenty percent of the countries ps4 is released in. I also predicted that in 2014 xbox one north america sales would be greater than wii u total sales. I was right about everything so far so you should believe me!!!

Kinect Sports Rivals thus far - 170k   ( a little bit short of your 700k April prediction)

I believe you toastboy!   4 million hot cakes here we come!   LOL      :)

Bomba LA bomba. Lol.
