I use both when needed like the gamepads useful if someones in front of the T.V or if you have joint pains and just wanna lay down. However when i'm alone the T.V is definitely going on or if it's co-op.

TV. Higher resolution and on my plasma TV, better color and contrast. Even 3D World looks a little bland on the Gamepad compared to my godly HDTV.

But when someone else is using the TV, I fire up Super Metroid, start a new game and play through it on the gamepad. Every time.

Gamepad always, teh graffix dont bother me so as someone who mains handhelds but never takes them outside the WiiU is like the most powerful handheld ever... now it just needs some damn games I want

Gamepad mostly. for convenience. although graphics look quite degraded, i dont mind it that much

a fair amount of both, but a lil in favor of gamepad. i have it stationed in my living room, so its easy access. wiiu and ps3 are in the basement

Whichever way Nintendo doesn't want me to do it. In that case, I never look at the GamePad.

50-50...Its tv when my wife is at work in the evening, and gamepad when the tv is in use ( mainly my daughter watching kids tv)
