Price is way too high, I want to see more before I even think of backing it.

I too thought this was for 3DS. Now it's coming to everything but 3DS?!

Or is the 3DS version locked in and this is for ports?

No 3DS version. The Vita version is now the main version, and the rest are just along for the ride because vita means life.

There may be a very expensive stretch goal for a 3DS version, though.

Nope if you read the page they say the project is beyond 3DS but if enough fan support (and money) is there then a 3DS version will be made. Instead 3DS gets a remake of Moon and thats it -_-

They are using unity, and since 3DS don't support it...

I think they are relling to much on their fame. If at least they give us a impressive tease.

And episodic.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

Those guys should be ashamed of themselves for not supporting the Ouya! 一_一

I'm really pissed that they're shoving the 3DS version.

I thought the whole point of this was to prove the FPSs have an audience on 3DS.
Nintendo might bring Unity to the 3DS, so here's to hoping it comes out in time for it to be included.

Some interesting quotes:

"We want to also support Xbox 360, but it requires extra license fees for Unity and development hardware to test on. Also, indie developers are unable to self-publish their games on the Xbox 360. Therefore, a third-party publisher is required to release it. We can only support the Xbox 360 if we reach the stretch goal. If we reach the stretch goal, backers will be able to choose from any of the available platforms."

"Cult County has grown beyond the scope of the 3DS, and we do not want to compromise our vision for the game. We are excited by the opportunity home consoles and computers offer the game, and hope you share our enthusiasm. We have chosen to utilize the Unity engine to craft the experience, which unfortunately does not support the 3DS (yet?).

If there is enough interest in seeing Cult County on the 3DS, a "Nintendo 3DS" stretch goal could be added. However, it would need to cover the cost of developing a separate game entirely, as we would need to rebuilt the game from scratch with our proprietary 3DS engine."

I understand that people might be disappointed it's not on the 3DS but I don't see how you can blame them.  Seems like it was either a 3DS version or an EVERYTHING ELSE version.

Anyway, $15 for a digital copy seems pretty nifty.

Dev confirms: Vita is a home console.
