Forums - Gaming - Does Your Local Retailer Still Carry All 8th Gen Systems?

I think most people exaggerate what they really see.

Both yes and no. The only systems I can find are 3DS, PS4 and Vita at the moment. They have the Wii U from time to time, but mostly as "pre-order". It basically means that they ship it from another city/shop in China and you pick it up the next day. So I suppose it means they are also in stock, more or less.

For games I have only seen a few Vita, PS4 and Wii U games, mostly Vita games. No 3DS games last time I was there.

Where I live there are all 8th gen consoles including the Vita because nobody buys them since they are too expensive

Yep in nz all machines are easily available . Far from selling out thats even including the pS4.

I forgot what generation we're on honestly. My retailers always have the games but not the consoles, and they are honestly baffled whenever I buy a Wii U game.

Consoles: 3DS, Wii U, and Vita soon. Super Paper Mario fan.

My GAME does, but my HMV doesn't do Vita, Wii U or 3DS anymore. A bit odd really.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

My local stores have lots of wiiu a few ps4 and absolutely no Xbox ones at all! Every single store in my whole city have no stock! Its amazing!..

Might be because I live in Japan though.

I've never seen a WalMart, Gamestop, Best Buy, Target, etc..... not have Xbox One, PS4, Wii U, 3DS, or Vita. (Not counting selling out)

This had me laughing so hard

Only retailer I really do new games at anymore is Walmart. My preferred store hasn't had WiiU's in stock in months. They still have the loads of 2DS consoles they got in for Black Friday, and sell a decent amount of 3DS consoles. They sell the 4GB Kinect 360 and 250GB Halo 4/TR bundle, and Xbones. PS3 they only sell the 12GB worthless one. Have the same few Vitas they have had since last year. No PS4's in awhile.
