Nope it will not change anything. Whoever wanted those games already got them on the better system the 3ds.

Well if it keeps the resolution, then no thanks but if it upscales the res or makes it HD or something, then sure!

I actually agree with this. There are a few games for the 3DS like Pilotwings that I would much rather play on a big screen. And the WiiU needs all the help it can get during droughts.

Well I'll give this example, by asking which one would help more.

Super Mario 3D World or Super Mario 3D Land on Wii U?
Mario Kart 8 or Mario Kart 7 on Wii U?

In a short version, it would not help much.

I'd buy Ace Attorney and FE for Wii U!

It would make both consoles sell less overall. People who own a 3ds still would not have a reason to own a Wii u. People with a Wii u would no longer need a 3ds

I imagine this is what they will do for the next Nintendo handheld/home console's just have games in one format that release on both platforms with crossplatform play etc.

Only for year-old games that don't have an obvious version on or coming to Wii U already. Why port over MK7 when it's getting MK8 soon?

Also, only if any online functionality is also compatible with people playing on 3DS.

Nah, their library's are pretty similar as it is franchise wise. Just make more original games on Wii U!
