Interesting... I'll see about becoming a local distributor, but I expect bigger profits than that.

Lol.  And is it just my computer or is this thread not showing up in the hot topics of the main page?  I see it when I click on forums.  CONSPIRACY!!

Of course it doesn't. Inspired by new XBox policies, your topics now automatically appear in the special spammers-only section of VGC and can only be viewed by other spammers. I hope you enjoy quality postings by Nintentacle.

Dammit VGC.  And I just praised you in the OP.  Actually, I'm going to try something.

Edit:  Oh well, didn't work.  Not sure what's up with the front page, or if it's just my laptop.  Maybe you aren't allowed to criticize N4G, since VGC has a section for them.

That sounds pretty unfortunate I have to say, very unusual. Is that a common problem at N4G or not? I've only ever posted here so I wouldn't know, but it seems like it's just bad luck. Hopefully you'll be unbanned soon.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Makes me realize we could seriously use a bot to crush spammers. Either that or a simple ban on new accounts from posting urls

Ugh, don't do that.  Sure, you'd get to them quicker, but you'd also run the chance at pissing off new users if the bot "thought" they were a spammer.  Very bad.  I prefer the method of it taking a little longer for you guys to catch them, but leaving legitimate members be.  Though, I'm sure they suck on your end of things.

The mod said it does it quite a bit with new accounts.  Not sure what kind of perameters they programed into the sitebot, but I would say they are just a tad harsh on new accounts.

Hmm, I was thinking of something along those lines. Not sure how easy it'd be to implement though.

It's more for the folks spamming the comment sections of the "articles" (usually just guides to iOS games). A spambot on the forums is a chance for some creativity on our parts, as we replace the spam with whatever comes to mind (if they post in threads).

The guys spamming the comments, though, they breed like flies or something, and it's no fun to wade through 100 reports, which is them somehow reporting each other. Fortunately some of the other mods have more patience for it than i do.

Good for finding news but that's about it
