Couple things, you have to speak to it exactly as you are supposed to. Saying 'Wake up Bitch," will do nothing to Kinect , but might get your room mate a knuckle sandwich. That's like the people that put the mouse On the Monitor.

Watch both the Voice and movement tutorials. They are in Settings - Kinect - tutorials. You have to learn a bit what it expects.

'Xbox, Goto Killer Instinct' works great. 'Xbox, er um, goto that fighting, killer instinct' will not work.

and for example it's 'Xbox, goto Ryse: son of rome" You must say the whole thing for now.

Not sure what was going on but Xbox Live was horrible for me last night. I couldn't even go to the marketplace, view my Pins, or anything. It was like the service was down. Titanfall kept losing connection, too. Hope your first day with Xbox One was smoother.

Anyway, post your impressions about the console, the games, the controller, etc.! I'd love to read them. And I plan on getting Ryse, soon. Looks like it'll be a fun diversion.

It was very smooth actually. I loved it! I had so much fun with Killer instinct, Titanfall and had a Netflix night with friends! Dude..I am so glad my cousin gave me this thing. I never had this much fun with the PS4. I pretty much gamed and then turned the thing off.

Seems you have met the S.T.A.G.E. that anyone who has been here for years has known well.

At the start of last gen he was a XBox360 gamer and the Sony fans* disliked him. At that time there were things about the PS3 he did not like.

Then along the way he got a PS3 and started enjoying it more than his 360. That is when the XBox fanbase* began to dislike him.

Now he has come full circle and eventually, well hopefully, everyone will no longer dislike him.

* Does not mean ALL of each respective fanbase disliked him.

I guess the guy/girl doesn't half step on his moves. He/She goes all the way.
