I'm talking 8 th generation ...if that's the case the ds is still selling and it's at 154,000,000 or the wii which is at 101,000,000 also is still selling if we are talking fiscal year April 1 to "march 31 2014 no console has sold more hardware than 3ds ...you see how numbers can be deceiving .....yes playstaion 4 and xbox one came out in nov but from nov until today 3ds still has sold the most hardware in that time period

Bad idea ps4 owes its success to sony's marketing and Microsoft's blunders. Nintend should focus on games and that is realyy what therse plastic things are meant to do....

Petty insults are one of the reasons I have nearly no respect for Sony and zero respect for Microsoft. Stay classy, Nintendo. I'd rather hang out with the dumb kid than the asshole any day.

What so petty about staying consistent and reminding people of it? Maybe Nintendo would say something to if they actually paid attention to what the competiton was doing instead of:

Whether they do or do not, nothing will change. If they don't, nothing will change, obviously. If they do, then the people who criticize them for it are the people who would buy a Wii U anyway. The people who will buy Wii U eventually will not be persuaded by this. They are just waiting for Kart, Smash, X, Bayonetta, etc. This goes back to the idea that Nintendo does not compete with Microsoft or Sony. Those two compete against each other, so mudslinging has some value. Nintendo would lose or gain nothing.

I'm pretty sure the verdict, 5 months later, is that Reggie was right. The PS4 and XBO launch lineups were exceedingly "meh."

That is for the consumers to decide not Reggie, furthermore, this about Nintendo not playing Sony or MS's "childish games"

If saying that they have no always on drm and no region lock is a petty insult then what do you call directly insulting the launch librarys of PS4 and MS? Sounds like something a company that has been in the industry for the longest time shouldn't be saying.
