Whether they do or do not, nothing will change. If they don't, nothing will change, obviously. If they do, then the people who criticize them for it are the people who would buy a Wii U anyway. The people who will buy Wii U eventually will not be persuaded by this. They are just waiting for Kart, Smash, X, Bayonetta, etc. This goes back to the idea that Nintendo does not compete with Microsoft or Sony. Those two compete against each other, so mudslinging has some value. Nintendo would lose or gain nothing.
