Forums - Gaming - Are you "loyal" to any one company?

@Soriku:

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your question. I thought I did a decent job in explaining why I prefer the Gamecube, PS3 and N64 over the PS1, PS2 and Wii. I really don't get what you're trying to ask me outside of why I like those consoles better.

Favourite Console Manufacturer: Sony. They got me into gaming. I'm one of the newbreeds of gaming. :|

Favourite Handheld Manufacturer: Nintendo. Just got a DS and I love it. Played around with PSP. Meh.

Favourite Operating System Manufacturer?: Microsoft. Screw you Apple!

Favourite Shoe Company: Nike. Awesome kicks.

Favourite Developer: Rockstar games. Never seem to sell their soul.

360 IS OPERATIONAL AFTER 37 DAYS!

Well, I pretty much only buy Nintendo consoles and handhelds because they make games from my favorite series.

prob sony but I dont like everything sony makes (xplod and other crap)

^_^

Consoles? No way. I have all the three major last gen consoles (minus the Dreamcast), and despite the Wii being my only current gen console, fully intend to get them all eventually.

As for developers, I suppose I have some favorites. I'm working on buying every single game produced by Paradox Interactive and Clover, and uhh.. that's probably about it. Nintendo's first party games are often pretty much the best games in their genres, but they make so make types of games that I couldn't care less for half of them. Nothing else comes close to those few as far as my "loyalty" is concerned.

For videogames I favor Nintendo and have more joy as a Nintendo fan but it doesn't stop me from owning the others. I basically go where the games I like are
NES -> Genesis/SNES -> PS1 -> Gamecube -> Wii/360 and PS3 to a lesser extent(I like it I'm just having trouble justifying having purchased it)

On Consumer electronics I absolutely despise Sony, I have horrible luck with their products breaking a few days after warranty ending and I stay away from any music or movies produced or touched by sony after the rootkit fiasco. I lean to Samsung and Panasonic for consumer items.

I'm "loyal" to Nintendo in a way, as I always buy its consoles, however I will buy other console brands if there is a particular game that I really want, like I bought a PS2 for the Guitar Hero Games, I also had an Atari Lynx because I didn't like playing in B&W. But for the most part Nintendo has always made the kind of games I like.

"¿Por qué justo a mí tenía que tocarme ser yo?"

Nintendo all the way.

I first got into gaming when my mother bought a Super Nintendo. But, she actually bought it for herself, so, I never got a chance at it until I was a bit older. XD But, yeah, since the SNES, I've owned every Nintendo Console and Handheld. The main reason why I love Nintendo so much is just, the franchises. Legend of Zelda has to be my favorite franchise ever and I love every game that Nintendo has released. And, just, none of the games on PS consoles ever interested me and I still regret buying a 360... >_

Well, I guess I'm loyal to Nintendo... if I'd like another company's console better than the Nintendo one I'd buy it, but so far this hasn't been the case.

I drink your milkshake.

I tend to be nintendo biasis .....since my first console was nes .
