Half of Vita's software sales are digital lol

And yet it still pitiful even if we doubled sales of each title by a factor of 2 ...

remember that titanfall is ONLINE only which means xbox live is required which puts that 450 bundle up to 510 bucks and the fact that its a better deal is pure opinion not fact people

I think ppl realize its a good deal, but they just dont care about Kinect or Titanfall. And therefore dont see the justification in paying $50 more for 2 more things they wont play or use.

I remember laughing at this argument when it was being made in favor of the PS3's wi-fi/bluetooth controllers/Blu-ray player vs. XBOX 360. It's still quite comical. What if I don't want Titanfall? Apparently not everyone does seeing as how only 1/3 of XBOX One owners have it.

In defense of MS (which is rare for me), 33% is a pretty damn good attach ratio

It's good for Respawn, certainly.

But it's very bad for long term for XB1 among multiplats developers. If XB1 is confirmed to be a "Titanfall box", Wii U is also called a "Mario box". Just connect the dots...

Actually it doesn't since the One only has about 75% of the PS4's power.

Too bad it's still getting outsold by the PS4 LOLOL ...

It's all thanks to Delsin's beanie. That thing is simply magical!

Oh and don't forget about snake.

True! There is also the glorious Knack! PS4's dominance now perfectly makes sense!

It is actually. Value is completely subjective and what adds value and what doesn't is different for every individual.

When the PS4 is the best selling system that means, that it has the best value to the most people, it's just that simple.

So when the author says the X1 gives the most value right now, then that is completely his "biased" (cause everybody is biased in some way) opinion.

It isn't actually. Value is based on how much you think something is worth. Just because you think something is worth X amount of money does not mean you have X amount of money. There's a difference between value proposition and budget/expense.

Value and top selling do not mean the same thing no matter how right you think you are.

The thing is it's completely impossible for us to quantify the amount of people that think the X1 has better value but can't afford it or the amount of people that think the PS4 has better value but can't afford it. The only way for us to realistically quantify the value perception is through sales.

So if out of those 10.6 million people that have bought a X1 or PS4 already the majority bought PS4s then that simply means, that to that majority the PS4 proposed the better value, cause let's be realistic here, if you can save up $400 for a console this early in its life then you can also safe $500 if you think this is the better deal. And if the PS4s continues to outsell the X1 despite all these deals, then that also means that the majority of people view the PS4 as a package with higher value.

You say 'value' and 'sold through' are the same thing but then turn around and say its impossible to quantify value among individuals. Well its not impossible to quantify the sales of individuals, in fact, its one of the main pruposes of this site. Sounds kind of conflicting but yeah, sure thing. Whatever reason you want to give to PS4 being the top selling hardware is a reason you believe in. I'm not going against that. I'm simply stating value and top selling are not the same thing.

Personally I think PS4 is the top selling because of how well Sony marketed the PS4 and how bad MS messed up in their marketing department.

Actually they are ... Defining value's through monetary lenses have little meaning to the term "value". However it is the market that decides what's more valuable in general and that in turn truly defines the meaning of "value". What the market thinks is more important than the price tag itself.

The Xbox One is now available in a bundled package with Titanfall, the most eagerly anticipated game for the console so far—and the retailers Walmart and Best Buy recently cut the price of the bundle to $450, from $500. Other retailers are jumping onboard with the price cut too, as you can now snag the bundle from Target and the Microsoft Store. Since Titanfall alone costs $60, in effect the Xbox One price drops to $390.

Xbox One's main competitor, the PlayStation 4, costs $400 but doesn’t come with a game bundled or a camera (the Xbox One comes with the Kinect camera). Buying a game along with the PS4 would bring the cost up to $460. If you wanted to add the PS4's camera, that adds another $60, bringing the total price up to $520. Doing the math shows that the Xbox One Titanfall bundle is actually a better value than PlayStation 4.

Not all retailers are currently offering the bundle at the discounted price, so this isn't an official price drop and it may be for a limited time only. If you’ve been waiting for the opportunity to grab an Xbox One but the price has held you back, you might want to act quickly.

And that is why the author of this article is a pseudo-journalist and not a mathematician... It should read "Since titanfall is of $60 value the total value of the bundle is $510 versus $520 with a ps4, AAA title, and camera" or something along those lines....

Well its definately a better deal if you want TitanFall and an Xone than buying them seperately at full price...
