There were exactly 4 persons who posted before you :

-3 like the mousou genre and are sure that they´ll enjoy that in a Zelda skin

- one doesn´t like the genre but is hopefull that Nintendo´s influence will result in a good game

How dou you come to that conclusion ?

Who's to say that their comments of liking the Dynasty Warrior series are only because there's a Nintendo version?  The games don't sell very much in the west, and there's a reason for that, but coincidentally we have so many people posting who love the series now that there's a Nintendo version.  Or maybe it's not coincidence.  Maybe literally every Dynasty Warrior fan outside of Japan is a member of VGChartz and it seems like a lot of people..

Zero hype.

I prefer only Link in my Zelda games.

Um, so you dont like any Zelda games?? Last I checked every Zelda game has multiple characters =P

If you mean playable characters well its still unconfirmed that we can play as anyone else but that would take away a lot of the games depth which seems stupid.

Depends how involved Nintendo is. The more they are involved, the more I look forward to it, but if they are only overseeing the project then I'm not so sure. Will need to see more footage.

What makes you think Nintendo's involement will make it better??

Nintendo make pretty good games.  Tecmo Koei are a mixed bag.  So the more involvement and influence Nintendo have the better IMO.

Right but when was the last time Nintendo made a good 3D Beat em up??

KT and Omega Force have the series down to a tee now after the 458 games they released in the series =P

It's more than just the combat though.  It's the world and environments, the enemy design, the music and just the overall 'Nintendo Quality' that Tecmo Koei don't have.  I haven't played a Dynasty Warriors in a while (I have Next ready on my Vita though but haven't got round to playing it yet) but watching reviews it just seems a bit 'meh'. So I imagine stuff like the enemies are being taken directly from Zelda so there won't be a problem there, but everything else I hope Nintendo get their grubby little hands on :)

we had 3 fans post before you... last I checked the game sells more than 3 copies in the west =P

In fact the series in NA alone has sold over 2 million on just the PS3 and 360 for last gen and thats just Dynasty Warriors and none of its spinoffs like Gundam, Samurai, One Piece, Orochi etc.

the only dynasty warriors I finished was the gundam 3 one ...
and I guess its only because I like the gundam series ...

idk about hyrule warriors ... I like zelda, and might like it because of it, but the gameplay in a dynasty game is kinda meh at best.

I am excited as love these kind of games. Curious as to character selection outside of Link as generally these games have a long list of playable characters.

Generally my thought.  If I had a Wii U, basically my interest would rely on how many other playable characters there are....

because the story cutscenes of Ganon, Zelda, random moblin, whatever would be my main interst.

I recently played through Dynasty Warrior Next on the Vita and in short bursts the game is quite fun, especially if you try some different characters etc, but the only reason I actually completed the campaign was because it ended shortly before I was ready to stop playing the game anyway. The gameplay is just so incredibly repetitive that ,while I did enjoy my time as I stated, I probably won't play any musou game again and I'm pretty surprised some people buy multiple games in the franchise/in that style.

I would pick this game up if a I had a Wii U. i would have to agree with a lot of others on the repetitive aspect. They're fun games to put on for a little bit and I'm sure the Zelda theme will do wonders for me.

The fact that you played DW Next wont help your opinion. I mean if you didnt like it you wont like the others a whole lot more but DWN imo is possibly the worst DW ever made.

I wonder if Hyrule Warriors will be the final name. Obviously WE know it's linked to Zelda, but it may pass a lot of more casual gamers, who still love Zelda, by. Surely they should incorporate Zelda in the main title somehow, especially when Link is the main character.
