| gergroy said: How people can like the touch pad function on this controller is beyond me. The touch controls were the worst part of killzone and infamous (the two games i own for the ps4). I do love the speaker, but I would be very happy to see the touchpad go away. As such, I cant agree that the ds4 is the best. It is an improvement over the ds3, but I think the 360 controller is still better (i havent tried the x1 controller). edit: actually, when i think about it, it is pretty obvious what controller is the best. The wii u gamepad! /thread! |
Looking through this thread it would seem like the Wii-u gamepad is not liked very much. And im suprised to see that you did not like the Touch pad funtions in inFamous, I loved them most of all.
But yeh, I see many would agree with you on the 360 controller though........
Most surprised by how many gamer's did not like the 6 button Sega Genesis controller. That joint was bada$$ back when it was 1st released.
DS2 is the best obviously (followed by SNES controller), they have the fewest flaws. Not sure what is wrong with you people... oh right I remember, you all have freakishly big hands.
Hmm, pie.
'DEM Thumbsticks though...
Ha. I prefer the Dualshock 3 forever & always. It just feels more durable.
DS4 feels so fragile and hurried.

Bah, neogeo CD controller is the greatest of all time, closely followed by "the bug" joystick by cheetah, and the Cruiser joystick too.

Wow! You are way off.
Keyboard and mouse for game control didn't come until the late 1980's.
Initially, PC games were widely joystick-based, or if they used the keyboard, they used the entire keyboard and games with a keyboard overlay.
So, truly, the keyboard + mouse combination didn't come into gaming as it is today until the mid to late 1990's with RTS games and eventually FPS.
This is an amazing controller, I previsously prefered the 360 controller, for modern games anyway.
Since you listed some old controllers, the Sega Saturn controller is the best one for d-pad games (i.e everything not 3D) it's just so precise and responsive, it has 6 face buttons as well as shoulder pads, everything that's needed, I wish I could connect it to the PS4 for Strider and FEZ by example.
