It really isn't. Appalling level design once you get past Casino Zone.

PC version of Sonic Generations is amazing at 60fps rock solid. Plays so much nicer than the 30fps console versions and is pretty much the perfect explanation as to why 60fps is preferable to 30fps.

The slowdown really depends on your PC and settings you are using. A high end PC shouldn't have any frame rate problems with any section of the game.

I completely agree. I dont know what this nonsense about level design is, but the 3DS version is consistently enjoyable from beggining to finish. The only problem is that it doesnt last longer.

It's a fun game, but the level design is really cheap after Casino Zone too many blind leaps and just nowhere near up to the standard of a decent 2D sonic game. If it wasn't a Sonic game, it'd be passable, but it just isn't up to the quality of the best 2D Sonic titles.
