Anything above 80 is actually a very good metascore also its not far off from the first two games scores.

What's with the "First Real 8th gen game" trope? I wasn't into this culture as much last gen, but did people really whittle the months away waiting for some big new IP that was never before possible? Because if that's what being next-gen implies, we already had ZombiU.

Does the game in question have to be universally popular? Because we already have Super Mario 3D World.

Does it need to have unprecedented online capabilities? Then you ought to be looking at PC games, not console titles.

So now only 90+ is an acceptable meta score for a AAA game to be considered worth getting out of bed for?

I think I predicted 84 for meta, so I'm not far wrong, so not at all disappointing metascore. I personally gave inFamous 1 and 2 8s so this meta is right in line with my rating of the series.

My concern would be a Meta below 75. Once a game metas in the 70s then sales really start to get affected.

I'm 95% sure I'm going to love this game and I'm 100% sure I'm going to like it.

Funny that one review says great story and another review says meh story.

Well i dont think you can say that this round went to X1, only because they got out the money hat for EA at the last minute to make it an exclusive. If MS had actually made the game I might have given them a bit more respect on TitanFall, but to me Infamous is more value in terms of  "Exclusive" than buying a game that was going to come out on all platforms.

So i think you can say objectively this round went to Sony... see how it works..lol

Well that makes no sense, well it is very niche thinking, but that just doesn't compute lol. Titanfall isn't on PS4 and therefore it is associated to Xbox. Titanfall 2 is another story though.

Seriously. 

You can I both know that Nintendo does not count as the "current gen" ever in video games history. They are always 1 gen behind. Duh.


more like 2 gens behind in hardware since X1 and PS4 are about 1 gen behind, duh!
