I don't see how that matters.

Honestly, do you guys just argue for the sake of argument?

it doesnt apply to anyone in this thread. So how is it relevant. Pretty most here is from US or a European country.

I'd like to propose something even more drastic: being honest for a change.

im being dead honest. and im sure some people are too, thats whats sad.

Indeed, it is a tragedy. That people are honest, yet make some of the most horrible arguments I've yet to come by.

"Nobody in this thread is from japan", who cares? How honest of an argument is that?

The screenshot think-man used, how honest was that? I showed him AC3 on U, which was much similar to the screen from FFXV. How honest is all of this?

the screen shot that you showed and others have shown have been less than honest. AC3 does not look that smooth on WIi U. So much for honesty.

At teh end of the day only SE knows for SURE if FF15 can run on Wii U and how well. Anything else is speculation on our part. IF they made a statement right now and said, Wii U cant run FF15 it wouldnt even matter cause Zero and some others would call them liars, lazy, throw a hissy fit, the normal stuff that gets done.

It aint coming, deal with it, you can make all the threads you want, it wont change anything. But if it makes you feel better(cant see how it does) have at it.

What are really saying here padib? You're joining zero in this argument?

That is such bullshit. You've been on this site for what 5 years now and that's your arugment "Nobody is from there"?

If I tell you that there are two home consoles competing in japan, and only 1 console gets a game, while the other has many users who may want that game, the fact that nobody on this forum lives in japan doesn't change the truth of that statement.

oh boo hoo, ok fine. You're right, but again how does that really apply to the OP. YOu picked ONE region out of many where your statement MIGHT be true, wow its a game changer.

...on the other hand:

We literally don´t know just how open FF XV will be and Nomura´s team reportedly struggled to get it running on the PS 3 .

try not to introduce common sense into this.

Came in to say 'of course it could run on WiiU', thinking this was about FFX/FFX-2 lol.

FF15, ehh. I'm sure with the right resources applied it would be fairly good honestly. It would have to make extensive use of drive space in the U, and almost certainly it would fall short a bit graphically in some respects (though it could still look fairly good if they made use of upscaling/etc).

The answer though is the target market for this game is almost certain to already have a PS system though. The investment to make a WiiU version would be risky as it would be quite expensive to produce, and would have to sell quite a lot at launch MSRP to get even that initial investment back. The odds of it being a big money maker are slim. And for that reason, we won't see it.

Don't get me wrong, I love Nintendo and like the U. I even think the U has a fairly good few years ahead of it as the flagship Nintendo titles bring their fans like nothing else (the support for things like Kart, Smash, and Zelda are BIG, and we may also see Metroid, SM3DW2, etc). So my prediction isn't that the U takes 2nd place, but with their manageable hardware costs we'll see a healthy 3rd place arise, and a good number of gamers who go either/or with PS4/XB1 will be more likely to pick up a U for the unique exclusives rather than the rival console for most of the same games + another online fee.

So think of 'U' as = unique.

This fall, look for a new U SKU, a redesign with emphasis on bundles, good pack-in value, reduced/optimized manufacturing BOM costs, etc. Their real risk this time was the tablet, due to the cost of the screen really. But as we're seeing with all mobile tech, those costs are plummeting like mad. So $249 is in reach this coming holiday season for a good bundle with one of these new SKUs, and probably hit the awesome $179-199ish mark in 2015. It's really at this point where you will see heaps of Us as 'companion/kids' systems, for those that enjoy the Nintendo games a good bit, but who don't currently see enough to make them invest in it.

Zero is the same guy who said this can run on the WiiU with "minor" cutbacks. There's no point guys, just leave him be.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

I would like to get Nintendo s take on getting FF15 on the Wii U and its take on a variety of high quality, desired 3rd party games that we have and will miss out on the wii u- We get all kinds of Nintendo supporters arguing/insisting that certain games would run well and/or sell well on the Wii U- but I never hear much from Nintendo- they are the entity that could actually do something about it in many situations
