Forums - Nintendo - Before you start the 7th billion Nintendo is Doomed thread

People must get paid to talk bad about nintendo

Around the Network

Lets see....
2014 to 2052 = 38 years
38 years @ 250,000,000
9,500,000,000? Really? 9.5 billion? Keep believing everything on the internet.

Do you mean Yen? idk what that would be but this makes no sense.

Edit: opps read it wrong, I guess so but they would have to sell off about everything.

I don't think that's how stocks work anyways. If they're posting losses every year then that will kill their market cap which will in turn make them a smaller company.

I assume this is not to be taken literally nor realistically, just to point out the big picture that overall, Nintendo as a company aren't in danger of going under anytime soon.

Nintendo Network ID: Cheebee   3DS Code: 2320 - 6113 - 9046

Around next year when it's game catalogue swells, gamers will all unite and play Wii U. Until that happens is the interesting part.

But I'm sure not missing out on MK,SSB,Mario,Zelda,Metroid and some other stuff just because the console is a little underwhelming.

they will end making only handheld systems. Since Wii their home consoles suck ass.

i wish they would take that money and make some real wii u advertisements.
that do not make it look like a kid toy show some fucking real commercials like they used to in the 90's/early 2k's

People don't want Nintendo to go bankrupt. They want them to CHANGE what they're doing.

Continued losses as a publicly listed company will eventually cause this.

Frankly, I am getting sick of that BS.

If they have so much money, invest it!

This. As a consumer I couldn't care less about Nintendos profits. I will get whatever gives me the most for my money. And that's not Nintendo at the moment.

Also, if Nintendo would be losing money for like 5 years straight, the stock price will go to shit which would make a hostile takeover extremely likely. So in the end, they are not doomed. But they're also not safe.

If your stock price goes in the tank, you do a buyback (just as Nintendo has). Hostile takeovers make for good TV drama, but they are HARD to pull off in real life.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

If they continue the red numbers people will stop investing in them and the lossos will grow each year. Until hey finally decide to invest some of that cash to somehow make a profit again.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
