I admit I'm not up to speed how far the OR prototype is right now. But it looks for now it just has better FOV. But I expect it absolutely in later iterations to beat Morpheus in both resolution and refresh rate as well.
I'm basing this assumption on the fact that OR is embracing change and rapid development. They also don't have to dumb it down because the PC hardware won't be able to display it. For example it would be silly for sony to put a >1080p display in their device because the PS4 just can't handle it. On OR however it would be a natural step. I also expect numerous iterations of the Hardware over the years. So even if Morpheus starts out better, OR will overtake it at some point.
This is not bashing the Sony VR. As I said we will have no choice anyway so we should embrace what we are getting for each platform.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
