No, retail copies of Nintendo games never go down in price. I just sold my friends Smash Bros Melee for $45......In real life you're going to not like 1 game you own. Selling it would be worthwhile to stick to retail.

Plus usually games at retail, or on eBay are cheaper then digital. Just bought Paper Mario for $26 on eBay, new and sealed.

But which Paper Mario? Hope not Sticker Star!

It's really up to you. I personally prefer retail games, because then I have something to look at. Also, the Wii U eshop is at least as expensive as the retail game, if not even more expensive. (don't forget to get a harddrive)

I've already decided to stay physical, for now!

not all games are available on the eshop, so that move would already limit your experience.

Of course physical games are also cheaper and can be sold, also you'd need to buy an external harddrive immediately, so I wouldn't recommend it.

Don't buy through Nintendo's eshop. The games are tied to the console, not the account, so if your console dies you lose all your games.

Sticker Star, why? I beat the other 2, I know SS isn't as good, but I love Intelligent Systems.

If you keep an eye on deals you can do much better than that promotion. The whole digital is cheaper is generally a lie. You can usually do near or better than digital prices if you can check deal websites once a day. Only drawback of physical is they can be broken/stolen/ect.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
