Op clearly states money is not the issue. He is saying now which is a better option. XBox live vs psn is different XBox live has better servers less laggy for me. Yes it offers free to play games but recently idxbox has brought many indie developers are coming. Indie support goes to ps4 but things for XBox one are looking very bright many devlopers are making games for it. Psn+ offers free games that are rented MS has announced XBox live free games will be coming and that will offer some good titles because XBox one library is not big so they will offer good games. Current library goes to XBox one dead rising,ryse,forza,project spark,titanfall,max,pvsz garden warfare. Kinect is a great peripheral and with the new updates its awesome.
Money is not a issue for you go for XBox one I cannot comment on future becuase nobody knows what future holds for us but at currently announced titles XBox wins it. I have experienced both consoles and I can say buy an XBox one its better imo

Neither.  Just wait until 2015 until they both have great libraries of games, because that's when you should make a decision.

I have a Wii U because of its first party, third party games that play better with the WiiPad, and eShop exclusives; Super Mario 3D World, Pikmin 3, DK Tropical Freeze, Rayman Legends, Sonic Lost Worlds, Mighty Switch Force HD, Nano Assault Neo, Pokemon Rumble, and Dr. Luigi.

I have an X1 because it has a large and better early lineup of exclusive games compared to PS4; Ryse, Dead Rising, Plants VS Zombie, Titanfall, Crimson Dragon, Killer Instinct, Forza, etc.

I plan to get a PS4 but at the moment it still has little to no strong exclusive games worthy of the purchase, and buying the hardware solely for the "better hardware" is a lame reason if it has no games to play. Infamous is the first exclusive game worthy of purchase, but still needs more games to justify purchasing the console.

For now and for as long as Xb one costs more than PS4 the better option is PS4. Xb one literally offers nothing I want over and above what PS4 offers, and PS4 offers more and better because it's a fundamentally better machine.

Aside from true exclusive games I can't understand why anyone would chose Xb one, and I guess that's why Xb one is 2 million consoles behind. More people see it the same way than not.

PS4 will seemingly forever be a better long term solution than XBO. Titanfall just barelly puts XBO's library above PS4's atm. When Infamous comes it will be about even. My view could be skewed as I am not a FPS guy really.

outweighs Titanfall, Dead Rising, Ryse, possible Quantum Break and Sunset Overdrive, at least for me that is. Then all the big budget 3rd Party games will be on both but slightly better on PS4. PS4 is only 50 a year while XB Live is 60, and doesn't have nearly the same amount of benefits as PSN for me. PS4 is cheaper than XBO and that isn't changing in the foreseeable future. XBO requires a $30 attachment for premium headsets, $25 for rechargeable battery packs, neither of which you will need to get same functions on PS4. Controller is such a non factor for me as well.

PS4 is the only logical choice for me and I think many others see it my way as well.

I think more people should spend more time with both consoles. Some opinions would possibly change.
