I honestly hated 3DLand...I felt like it was just really slow paced and boring. Maybe its because I hate the Tookoki suit and that game used it constantly.

I feel like it was a pretty dissapointing game I expected it to be more like Mario 64 but it wasnt anything like that.

I also think that the 3ds has room for better graphics than what that game showed I would like to see a Mario 64 esque game on the 3ds but it will probably never happen

3d World is amazing though. its nothing like 3d land.

Probably, the issue is that the 3ds is selling like crazy but the wiiU isn't so any resources they spend on an already successful device will not be worth it for them. But if the wiiU turns into a success somehow, then maybe they will make another one

And yea, I didn't like 3d Land much either, its a great game but nothing outstanding

You didn't like 3D Land but hold Mario 64 in high esteem? Boy, if I had a dollar for every time I heard that...

Anyhow, there's close to no chance of this happening. The Wii U, with it's wallowing in agony, has a higher chance for another 3D Mario. Especially considering Nintendo seems to think that'll help it more.

I had a blast with it, enjoyed it much more than New Super Mario Bros.

3d land may be my favorite 3d Mario game ever. I'll edit this later with my reasons if I get a chance (or maybe I'll post my official review of it that I typed months ago).

Well I mean I didn't really expect too much from it either. I didn't think it was going to be on the same level as any of the other 3D Mario games because it is on a portable system, the design of the game in general felt more suited for being on a portable as opposed to Mario 64 for example which I feel is a living room style of experience.

Wii U needs it much more than the 3DS does. If the handheld does get the game, I think it could be like Smash with two slightly unique versions.

Or in the worst case scenario of Wii U being killed off/abandoned soon, then I'd see the 3DS getting the next iteration.

Mario 3D Land = Bad game
Mario 3D World = Excellent game

At least IMO
