PS4 tie ratio = 2.18

Now LTD NPD's are PS4 2.54m, XBO 2.22m

Thus we can see that XBO has sold 6.105m software, PS4 has 5.537m.

Just, interesting. Wonder how it'll change going forward. It just shows PS4 is lacking compelling software right now I guess.

PS plus owners have also had 4 free games since launch

This. And perhaps PS4 is selling more digital copies of its games...

add to that the upgrade plan for cross gen games. 

xbo has better supply, ps4 supply sucks.

Xbox gamers continuing that trend from Gen 7. Sure as hell buy a lot of games.

Its why PS exclusives from western 3rd party devs are few. Cant turn down that Xbox userbase.

game sales on disc aren't even worth discussing anymore, digital sales account for too big of a % of game sales. You can conclude that 4 million vs 2 million is meaningful even factoring digital sales, but 5.5 million vs 6.1 million (10% difference) is not enough of a difference to be able to draw any conclusions.

And some of PS4's best games are only available digitally.

No idea why the playstation userbase doesn't Buy as much games as the Xbox Userbase
