It seems that Sony may have snuck in a new feature to the PlayStation Store.

For those who may not have notices, Tuesday PSN Update was just published today by Sony. Their reason for the delay was that their was a bug in the system, though it seems that they may have been adding extra features to the store as some rental options have appeared for certain titles.

Update: Saw this on Neogaf, and it appears that this is actually apart of the PS Now service.

I like the idea but would lime to see execution. 1-2 dollars a day 7-10 dollars a week would be pretty sweet.

Im thinking its more for a trial period (or ps+ promotion) I dont think it will be free if this takss off.

Ugh...Sony needs to hurry their sweet asses up and beef the PS4 offerings some. I had two choices. Either get a PS3 and get caught up on all the sweet games I missed over the years of being a 360 owner, or get a PS4 at launch. I got a PS4. It sucks to have to watch all these awesome free PSN games come to PS3 and not PS4.
