Forums - Gaming - Can we take a brief moment to remember THQ?

Last game from them I bought was Darksiders 2. Got it on the cheap and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.

I'll always remember them for the Smackdown/WWE games though. From the PS1-PS2 gen.

Toy Headquarters.

I owned a lot of games from them.

no.its legacy

I didn't play many THQ games. Only WWE Day of Reckoning 2 (GC), S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl (PC) and Darksiders 2 (Wii U) come to my mind. The latter two were pretty buggy.

I liked Overlord, I want more Overlord, must club all baby seals.

I remember they used to publish a lot of crap during the SNES/Genesis days, outside of their WWF license, lol.

darksiders i miss u

I played Deadly Creatures as a tribute when Dennis Hopper died. It was an interesting idea, and now I completely understand the odd ways in which spiders walk around. When you can walk on Every wall and surface navigating becomes a bit of a challenge.

RIP THQ:

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

All of Relic games were gold. What does THQ actually stand for

THQ stood for Toy Head-Quarters.

Red Faction 1 and 2 were GREAT. I want to say Red Faction 1 was one of the pioneering games in dynamic destructible environments.  Guerilla was decent. Darksiders 2 was an awesome game. Weren't they involved with the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game too? Loved that game. Juiced was excellent for its time.
