I got one last week. The free games you get with PS Plus and remote play sold me on it, that and it was discounted. The memory card still felt lke a ripoff though.

Wow, didn't expect it to outsell the PS3! Passing the 360 isn't that much of an achievement since its sales are so low now.

I hate when people say:

"Just because of Japan"

They say it trying to imply that Japan doesn't matter

The interesting thing is that nobody goes to xbone topics to say that it's only selling because of the US

IS this because of the ps vita tv? that think is attractive to buy, and only available in japan, so it would make sense

Take off the one week japan boost and they are even worse.

Outselling the PS3 and 360 (8th and 9th year respectively) isn't an achievement, it's a base line absolute minimum requirement, and even then it's not enough.


Same can be said for X1 as thats only just passed PS3 on weekly sales this year, both must try alot harder.

Looks like the xbox one will take the US after all, but it doesn't look like it will pass the PS4 WW anytime soon,

Hopefully FFX and borderlands 2 will be the jumpstart the system needs for NA, Europe with the announcement of One Piece will be fine and Japan is games so the system will continue to rise there.
