well you could compare it with the first three weeks of PS3 but to be fair, they could really not produce more PS3s back then.

Wasn't far off with my ps4 prediction for this week (40 or 45 as i recall). Sony better pray it stays between 20 and 30k but my guess is 15-25k per week.

i think it was pretty obvious PS4 will settle in the 15K range long ago. it just isnt a console that catters to the japanese much. i wouldnt be surprised if it falls sub 10K either. not sure about the software that is coming out for it anytime soon so there might be something that is coming that could push sales, i dont know. but as i see it, PS4 well perfom pretty average this year in Japan, i think Vita and 3DS will easily outsell it most weeks. maybe Final Fantasy can change that if its good, i dont know. but PS4 wont light up the charts like it did in the west.

Nice boost for Vita, expected drop for PS4. I'm hoping it stabilizes at 10-15k for the rest of the year, 2015 will be a great year for the system with Final Fantasy XV, Metal Gear Solid V, and possibly Resident Evil 7.

The Vita is awekening. If only it was like that in the west... Shahid, we NEED pso2 in the west. That would really increase the value of the vita.

How does it prove it, do you have japan shipment records?

Note that the only ways saying the PS4 is supply constrained in Japan were Sony fans. And they were wrong. The system is nearly outsold by the three year old 3DS and two year old Vita.

Clearly Sony have shipped more PS4s to America and Europe for the run up to Infamous and the bundles. We should see more consistent numbers mid April. Vita is getting more traction too.
