Nintendo will always have work for him unless they themselves go out of business. The question will be if he wants to do it (he left HAL over issues with being forced to make too many sequels, then he helped make Meteos, then he came back and did Brawl, revived Kid Icarus, and is now doing the Brawl sequel, so who knows what's going on in his head).

In reality who hasn't? A ps2 was the first dvd player in most homes and the ps3 is the same for blu ray player. Sony systems just have a way of finding their way into homes even if gaming isn't the first thing on peoples mind for them.
