I forgot to tell that he also told me that ps4 had no games. Which I alsways find a funny statement.

RIP ps3, xbox360.

welcome home ps4 and X1

It's a shitty minimum wage retail job. Dunno why people expect the best and the brightest.

Its not that I expect them to be bright, when they do not know what they're talking about they should just keep it shut. By the way they were not some 17 yo employees, more like between 20-25...

I had same issue but the reverse they were pushing ps4 even saying that titanfall was coming out in a few months for it to. I laughed they are all a joke.

With the newer posts i'm starting to doubt if OP isn't just quoting some random internet troll

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Despite microsofts enromous support and spending; PS4 is still selling like hotcakes. This is old video. But its great.

After sampling phone numbers of different gamestops, I discovered that they were all landlines. Despite this, at the beginning of the video the phone shows "calling mobile". This has given my doubts about the validity of this video, making me question whether he had asked a friend to pretend to be a gamestop employee and just named the contact Gamestop.

Video games mean a lot to us but for the Gamestop employee, it's just a job.  Probably a shitty one at that.  Maybe they're enthusiastic about games but that's probably it.  The knowlege we've gained over the years is impressive but we aren't the average gamer.  Hell, I'll probably buy an Xbox One in the next 7 days and I already own a PS4 (meaning I'll own every 7th and 8th gen console that isn't clled Ouya) and I have no idea about the tech inside the boxes.  Cut 'em some slack.  They're getting paid poorly to sell Call of Duty to 12 year olds.

Agreed.

I wouldn't expect a waiter to know everything about cuisine, would I?

True, but I wouldn't expect him to tell me false info. If he doesn't know he can go check, not spout bullshit.

Yeah, that's what's really being missed here.  Nobody expects them to know everything, but at least admit when you don't know the answer and attempt to find it before the customer leaves...that's what a 'professional' does.  And it doesn't matter what your pay grade is, good employees will go above the call to fill out their knowledge in areas that are important to their profession.
