Ok, so we know PS4 has jumped to no. 1. Its funny though, no games bundled in.
This is great as im not forced to buy a game, I can choose what I want (Knack, no?) or go straight to digital, or play one of ps4's many f2p's.
(DCUO, blacklight, warframe, warthunder, Planetside 2(soon))
The PS4 jumped to no.1 whereas the xbox titanfall bundle didnt even touch no.1 on Amazons bestsellers list. I think it maxed at 5, but now is around 13-18.
Also, this keeps PS4 significantly cheaper whereas bundles would up the price, even by $£30+-.
Sony are smart, they know what they're doing, they outsell the in-stock xbox one with out of stock ps4.
Dear MS:
The early part of console cycle shouldnt be primarily about selling software (Check xbox bragging of greater software sales in US in jan npd)
Build a console-base, consumer love, and stuff.
Sony are selling the consoles like mad, prob at a loss, but building the base that are gonna buy 2-3-4-5-10-20-25 games down the line, where they make there money.
