Resistance which launched with the PS3 managed 4.5 million units sold. Considering the ps4 is selling much better than the ps3, I'd be shocked if Killzone doesn't at least reach 4 million.

Titanfall will meanwhile be limited by the XBONE install base. Being an online only mp game will limit its legs, so I'd expect it to be sub 4 million.

There is far more competition on the ps4 compared to the PS3's launch. COD and Battlefield have eaten into Killzone's market and are either hot on its heels (BF4) or outselling it (COD). There are plenty more competitive fps for PS4 players to choose from then there were for PS3. Resistence also sold its numbers because it was the only well received ps3 exclusive for about 11months (up until Uncarted). Infamous is right around the corner and will probably steal the spotlight.

Good luck with that.

VGC has it at 1.48m? I think it will sell another 600k this year and  500k for the rest of its life.

2.7 is probably a more accurate guess thinkinga about it.

Yes, but Killzone is also already at 2.1 million sold to consumers.

At its current rate of 35k a week plus holiday sales it'd reach 4 million by the end of the year. Infamous isn't a shooter so it shouldn't affect Killzone weekly sales that much.

WRONG, resistance was a AAA launch for sony sure.... But the ps3 had ratchet which was a AAA launch.. Heavenly sword which was okay.. And wargawk.. All before uncharted.. Which was completely overshadowed by the launch of assassins creed and call of duty 4 in 2007.. Uncharted was not that well received.. It was the best looking console game.. But uncharted 2 is what brought the franchise it's spotlight.....

Killzone is well ahead of r1 in sales.... 2.1 million as of early march

mM

Titanfall will outsell killzone, it's pre order is higher .....more higher then killzone was back at 2013

Also motorstorm was a launch window IP too.... Which sold very well... And the darkness.. Was also another IP.. Resistance sold okay.. It was the bundles and re releases that really pushed the ip

VGC says 1.48, Where are people getting the 2.1 figure from?

Regarding Infamous I do think it will affect Killzone somewhat. For every person who buys it because they're a huge FPS or killzone fan, someone is buying it because its the only flagship/showcase PS4 title.
